HERE AT MOODIE HQ WE LOVE NEW BALANCE TRAINERS

I’ve been wearing New Balance since the grunge days of the early 90’s. It was the staple trainer for anyone that liked Nirvana, Pearl Jam et al………  I’m still wearing them to this day, and in fact amongst the way too many items of footwear I own, its by far the most prominent brand  in the trainer stakes.  

Not only comfortable, but well made, sturdy, down right stylish and also made in the UK as well as the US,  ( oh and did I mention they do different foot width sizes too- a rarity for trainers) this brand has been around since 1906 and was founded by British emigrant William J Riley in the US. 

They’ve always maintained a low key advertising strategy but they became and still are one of the leading footwear brands in the worldwide market. 

The 2 images shown here are of my favourite New Balances,  first, the all blacks, modelled by myself and my assistant- 574’s : an updated retro running shoe and the 501’S AB, another retro running shoe that’s comfortable enough to wear all day. Second is a pile of all the New Balances I own ( well,  as many as I can fit in the picture)  

If you don’t own a pair yet then what the hell’s wrong with you?  and more importantly,  get out there and buy a pair immediately. They are available at most leading sports shops and their own websites; the links are below.
